I wore purple today

I would like to say I am proud to live in one of the few countries in the world that recognizes same-sex marriage, but the truth is I am not. I can’t be proud of this, when I know the majority of people in the world don’t have the right to build-up a life with whoever they want. It is like being proud of having a brand new car while watching people walking barefoot beside you. I can’t be proud of this, because narrow-mindedness still exists no matter how much our laws change and improve. So as long as there’s people in the world that, for any reason, are prevented from being happy, I won’t be able to feel pride.

There’s no music for this. There’s something better: this
